Our work is about conversation in publishing and producing media.
Communicating ideas, comes from this conversation and these ideas can be formed in any media as an appropriate result of the communication.
We communicate both ways, A) alternatives, people we work with, B) to be 'we' and C) the client.
This position (part-intuitive, part-intellectual response) gives us the freedom to discover and experiment with many different media.
Sometimes this conversation is within our studio and at other times this conversation is with those outside freedomers.
There are several projects and urban actions, that are collaborations between freelancers of butterbay and others are working in the studio.
Butterbay forms the space where this expression exists (in the bsc - gallery and with butterbay.org), sometimes others offer a space for our work to be published, too.
Our work has included yet: websites, cd-roms, businesscards, folders, flyer, logos, typefaces, media concepts, exhibtions, events, corporate identities, printdesign, sleevedesigns, cd-booklets, design of brand identities, fashiondesign, branding and strategy documents.
